Easter 2022 is one of the most important Christian holidays. He personifies the awakening of nature from sleep and deliverance from sins. On this day, believers remember how miraculously the Savior resurrected.

In addition to a rich table with goodies, this holiday pleases us with additional days off. Easter is a moving holiday. Its date is calculated according to the lunar calendar. This holiday can fall between April 4th and May 8th.

The date of Orthodox Easter 2022 falls on April 24. It is believed that this is an early Easter. As always, the holiday falls on a Sunday. Monday 25 April will be a public holiday.

Catholics and some Protestants will celebrate Easter in 2022 a week earlier – April 17th.The date of Easter is determined by the lunar calendar. You can calculate the date yourself: for this, they determine when the first full moon comes after the day of the vernal equinox on March 21. Easter is celebrated on the first Sunday after this full moon. If this date falls on the Jewish holiday of Pesach, then Easter is postponed a week ahead.
